Courtney holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Courtney began her career at Duke University Hospital on the Cardiopulmonary team, treating patients in the Medical ICU. Since moving to Winston-Salem, she has enjoyed working in a variety of settings treating both orthopedic and neurological conditions with a special interest in incorporating both manual therapy and exercise to achieve maximal functional mobility. Courtney has a passion for travel, backpacking, hiking and running. Through her work and life experiences, Courtney appreciates the value of each person’s diversity and practices with a holistic model to address each person’s individual physical therapy needs. Courtney was born in Oklahoma, but has been a resident of North Carolina since 2002, and currently lives in Winston-Salem with her husband Niles, three daughters and two dogs.
